I would tend to agree with Bill for the same reasons he mentioned, although I'm not an attorney either. You may have to ask a local attorney in your state to get it straight. You could try and locate one here: http://www.naca.net/ Just click on Find A Lawyer, then choose your state and finally under Area choose Debt-Medical Expenses.
